About me
If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
I’m Eli Manata, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering warm, trauma-informed, shame-free therapy. I work with adults navigating sexual health, intimacy, gambling-related harm, and substance use, along with the anxiety, trauma, shame, grief, and relationship strain that often come with them.
For gambling-related harm, we can look at urges, chasing losses, secrecy, financial stress, and how they affect partners and loved ones. Together, we can build practical safeguards, including a personalized recurrence-prevention plan.
My approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and meets you where you are. I draw on harm reduction, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, parts-informed work, and expressive arts, and I’m knowledgeable about 12-step approaches. Everything is guided by your goals and pace. Your culture, identities, and choices matter here, and my work is LGBTQIA+-affirming and gender-affirming.
Whether things have just started to slip or have unraveled to a place that feels impossible to come back from, recovery, reconnection, and repair are possible.
Start where you are. Book a session, and let’s begin.
Virtual therapy for individuals in Florida. Multilingual sessions in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French.
