About me
I am a compassionate counselor who is dedicated to helping adult individuals and couples with anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, sexuality, and men's issues.
Do you identify with the LGBTQ+ community and are you currently feeling stuck, frustrated, or stressed? Would you like to live a happier, mess stressful life? Everyone feels these emotions at times but sometimes these feelings can get in the way of us achieving our goals and living our authentic lives. As members of the LGBTQ community, you may feel an extra layer of stress or misunderstanding that others cannot fully comprehend. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I understand how these feelings can impact a person’s life, but I do understand that there is hope for tomorrow. Are you feeling these emotions in your relationship as well? Sometimes these emotions can impact our relationships and we need help communicating, understanding, and reconnecting with our partner.
I believe that clients are the experts in their lives and follow their leads on what they want to accomplish. I work with clients to identify their strengths and collaborate with clients to create goals, plans, and expectations to help clients address the issues they want to work on and process. I work to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to develop and cultivate their strengths, discover new connections and meanings, and learn to become their authentic selves.
For couples, I believe it is important to develop and cultivate individual and relational strengths. I believe couples therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to build communication, learn and work on listening and hearing to each other, and develop skills and strengths to address and move pass the struggles that couples encounter in their relationship.
Entering therapy is a courageous towards finding new hope in life. The process can be life changing. Let’s start the healing journey together.
