About me
I am an experienced psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples work though issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, eating disorders, relationships concerns and life transitions.
As a psychotherapist in private practice I am committed to creating a warm, safe environment where you feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and feelings. I work with individuals, couples and families. My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, supportive and relational. We will focus on identifying personal dynamics and unconscious patterns of thoughts and behaviors leading to distress.
I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from NYU, MA in Psychology for LIU, CASAC from South Oaks Training institute for addictions and eating disorders. I have certification/training in Anger Management, Couples Therapy, Drama Therapy, Trauma, CBT, DBT, post graduate psychoanalytic training.
I offer a free phone consultation. I offer in person sessions at my office in Greenwich Village or virtual. I am an in-network provider with Aetna and Medicare. I am an out-of-network provider with all other insurance.
