Dustin Winkel, LICSW, LCSW
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
I've worked with a diverse clientele in a variety of clinical settings including private practice, child welfare, adolescents, healthcare, rural and urban, inpatient and outpatient, dual diagnoses, LGBTQIA, and community mental health, with myriad presenting concerns and interests. I've learned through my collective experience to take a focused, evidence-based approach with my clients in which we focus on a singular goal. I guarantee you will develop and/or strengthen your coping skills and reduce your suffering Here & NOW if you remain focused and committed to our work together.
Being present for myself has been one of the hardest things I've ever done. But it is only in the present we can experience our true feelings and learn to be psychologically flexible. I know your life can change if you practice the skills we learn together because I've done it myself. Please join me and commit to being present for yourself Here & NOW.
Using a combination of techniques rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Empowerment Theory, over the course of up to 12 sessions per goal, you’ll learn how to live in the Here & NOW and practice behavioral skills focused on your values.
