About me
I work with adults, adolescents (13+), and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, attachment concerns, and self-esteem challenges. I specialize in trauma-informed care and providing trauma therapy to those with recent and/or childhood trauma experiences. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood abuse. I also have a significant amount of experience working with teens and families, specifically youth struggling with emotional regulation, suicidal ideation, and self-harm.
My approach to therapy is rooted in evidence based practices, and is informed by a number of different modalities. I often utilize CBT and DBT therapy approaches. I am trained and provide EMDR and TF-CBT, evidence-based modalities specific for addressing trauma. I work from a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens to support clients growth.
I show up in therapy sessions with a warm, candid, and collaborative approach. I believe that every effective therapy space has a good balance of comfort and discomfort. As a therapist, I want my clients to feel safe and challenged towards growth. My approach is compassionate and proactive. I strive to provide a safe, supportive space while also encouraging meaningful growth, insight, resilience, and lasting change.
