About me
I am an experienced licensed professional counselor helping Gen X women manage anxiety and create healthy and fulfilling relationships.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I hold a master’s degree in Counseling from Kean University. Through my work with various populations, and my own self-reflection, self-discovery and growth, I’ve discovered the importance of social connectedness and how negative childhood experiences could dampen the ability to create and maintain healthy relational bonds with family members, peers, romantic partners and co-workers. These revelations led me to specialize in helping women explore the effects painful past memories and experiences can have on present day relationships and interactions. There is a saying “the past… lives in the present”. However, the good news is, once we have a clear understanding of how the past may be affecting our present day lives, we are better equipped to address patterns that no longer serve us, put the brakes on unhealthy behaviors passed down from generation to generation and create a new way of connecting!
