About me
I am the owner of Aloe Psychology group and a Reproductive Health Psychologist with extensive experience working with individuals and families at all stages of development.
I began with a degree in English Literature, spent time as a cross-cultural educator in Brazil, and eventually found my way to psychology through a shared question: what does it mean to truly understand another person? I completed her doctoral training in Clinical and Humanistic Psychology, writing my dissertation on the relationship between healthcare providers and patients navigating perinatal grief. For me the relationship always heals.
My clinical specialties include perinatal mood disorders, pregnancy loss, assisted reproduction, parenting, twice-exceptional individuals (those who are both gifted and differently wired), and transgender youth. With deep roots in the LGBTQIA community, my practice is dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces.
