Dr. Samuel Girguis, PsyD

Hello! I'm Dr. Samuel Girguis and I am a licensed clinical psychologist who can help you overcome the difficulties you are facing today. I have worked with a wide range of issues and have specialized in the treatment of abuse and trauma across the lifespan. My work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families is tailored to your individual needs. I understand that individuals and families today have many demands upon their time and resources; my goal is to work with you and help you thrive in the midst of your busy life.

I graduated from the APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary. While there, I also obtained a Master of Arts in Theology. I completed an APA-accredited postdoctoral fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, specializing in the assessment and treatment of trauma in children and adolescents (i.e., physical abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, foster care, homelessness, self-injurious behaviors, etc.).
I am currently Department Chair and Director of the APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University where I help train future psychologists and I see private practice clients on Fridays in my private practice office in Pasadena, CA (in-person or online).
