About me
I am a clinical psychologist specializing in trauma treatment.
If you have experienced a traumatic event, you may be wondering if you can ever feel better again. The answer is "yes." Trauma is treatable. There are a number of different kinds of treatments for trauma that are effective and backed by research. I specialize in combining several methods to tailor a treatment protocol to your unique needs and personality. My approach focuses on putting you at ease and helping the treatment flow as naturally as possible so you can feel comfortable and safe. I have experience evaluating, diagnosing, and treating people of all ages. If your children have experienced something traumatic or upsetting, I can work with you to help them at home.
In addition to being licensed in Ohio and New York, I am a registered telehealth psychologist in Florida (TPPY2906), so I can see people who live in any of these three states. I am a Diplomate of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and a member of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology.
You don't have to do this alone. Call me or message me. I offer a free 15-minute telephone consult call so you can have a chance to speak with me and ask me any questions you might have. You can also learn more about me at my website at https://www.JenniferCainPhD.com.
