About me
As a couples therapist, I help partners who feel distant or stuck reconnect and rebuild their relationship. Do you ever feel like no matter how hard you try, things just aren't working, and something has to change? Maybe you're looking for deeper clarity, connection, or a sense of fulfillment in your relationship and/or yourself? I've been there. I see you, and I've got you.
I am an experienced therapist specializing in relationship issues, life transitions, and couples work, and a single mom who has been through divorce myself, thus making me able to support my clients in transition or in crisis with deep empathy and understanding. I help clients through every stage of their relationships, whether they're dating, engaged, married, uncertain about their future, or going through a divorce, using both evidence-based practices and person-centered approaches.
I work with couples who are:
-Drifting further apart, even while trying to hold things together
-Repeating the same patterns, without real resolution
-Wondering if they should stay or leave — or if there’s another way forward
-Ready to go deeper, not just patch things up temporarily
Clients often say that I'm direct but kind, transparent, and fully invested in their process. I’ll tell you the truth with compassion and not just what you want to hear, but rather what you need to hear to move forward. This work isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level tools. We’ll figure out what’s really happening in your dynamic, and what needs to change — not just for things to look better, but to feel better.
You don’t have to have it all figured out when you walk in. You just have to be willing to start.
I have a PhD in Psychology, a Master's in Counseling, and a Master's in Human Resources, bringing with me a diversity of experience. I am a Certified Parent Coach by the Parent Coaching Institute in Seattle, Gottman-trained, and am a Gottman 7-Principles for Making Marriage Work Leader. I have worked in Corporate America, non-profits, and in a group practice before starting my own practice in the Summer of 2024. I am a mother to two children and one therapy dog, a yoga lover, and a want-to-be author.
My favorite quotes are:
Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly. -Chuang Tzu
She believed she could, so she did! -Unknown
