About me
I am an experienced doctoral-level therapist devoted to facilitating mental wellness for individuals who struggle with the impact of neurodivergence, trauma, parenting needs, military service, and ethnic/identity diversity.
We all struggle at some point in our lives. Either with anxiety that makes it difficult to do the
things we want to do or with feeling down and not enjoying things we used to enjoy. Sometimes
we are the person who cares for a loved one struggling with mental health difficulties and feel
tired or overwhelmed. Although it can be very lonely, you do not have to struggle alone.
I am an experienced clinician, clinical supervisor, and life coach with 15 years of experience, and independently licensed in three states. In my work, I use therapy models with great success in changing patterns that keep us stuck in unhealthy ways. Therapy models such as CBT help change how you think about your experiences and offer significant improvement in being able to enjoy life. Brief Solution Focus therapy helps individuals, couples, and families, overcome typical life difficulties and focus on positive solutions. As well as other therapy models that help with things like grief and difficult relationships.
As a Clinician I have worked with military service members/veterans and their families, ethnic,
gender, and sexual identity minorities, youths, and couples. I have had success in not only using
therapy models that are known to help, but also in including those areas of my client's life that
are centric to their person; things like spirituality and personal values. I am a straightforward
clinician who has a great passion for supporting my clients in attaining their mental health goals.
Similarly, as a Clinical Supervisor and Life Coach, I share my academic experience in support of helping supervisees and clients reach their professional and personal goals. In both instances, I use an approach known as a Developmental Model along with solution-focused strategies. By combining both, I meet supervisees and clients in their current stage of development and teach, support, and guide them to attain their desired outcomes.
Are you ready to start your journey to mental wellness? Are you ready to be your best Clinical Self? Are you ready to reach your life and professional goals?
