About me

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I provide compassionate online therapy for adults ages 25 to 64 who are working through challenges of the mind (anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, self-esteem and relationship difficulties), the body (emotional eating, body image concerns, sleep struggles, hormonal shifts, and chronic illness–related stress), and life transitions (navigating change and finding balance during major shifts).

Hello, I’m Dr. Chinwe Madu. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and reaching out for support takes courage. With over 15 years of professional experience, I practice as a Clinical Social Work Associate Therapist, drawing on my background as a licensed pharmacist (PharmD) and Health & Wellness Coach to inform and enrich the care I provide. My work reflects a holistic mind-body-spirit perspective that honors the whole person.

I provide therapy in Oregon as a Clinical Social Work Associate under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C. My approach is evidence-based and strengths-based, helping you build on what’s already within you while developing new tools for growth and resilience. I draw from Somatic, Mindfulness, Polyvagal theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology approaches, with attention to how stress shows up in your body and nervous system.

With both clinical and coaching backgrounds, I provide more than just a safe space to talk—I also help you access practical tools for resilience, balance, and lasting well-being. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, cultivate effective coping strategies, and create a path toward greater peace, clarity, and self-compassion.

I’m also certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a gentle, non-invasive, sound-based program designed to support your nervous system and help reduce stress and auditory sensitivity. If you’re curious, you’re welcome to contact me and visit WhatistheSSP.com to learn more.

My hope is that you leave our work together feeling more resourced, compassionate toward yourself, and more able to move through daily life with a greater sense of clarity, ease, and connection.
