About me
My approach to therapy is eclectic. I like to try and match my work style to my client and prefer to see myself as a supportive guide on life's journey. I am a counselor and consultant with a background in psychology, criminal justice, and counseling. I am a educator and psychotherapist with experience in working with teens and adults. My focus of study has been in traumatology, and I have worked in crisis settings and a variety of environments. I am dedicated to helping persons dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and many other concerns impacting daily functioning and relationships.
I am married to my best friend and have a blended family of 7 children. I have worked in the criminal justice system, higher education, and mental health for many years and love working with my clients to help them work through life's difficulties. I am person-centered and see my role as partnering with my clients in their journey to discover their potential and reach their goals.
