About me
I'm a therapist with forty years of experience supporting individuals and families through life's most challenging transitions. I work with clients across the lifespan, bringing particular expertise in stress and anxiety, relationship dynamics, family conflicts, intimacy concerns, and self-esteem.
My approach is in depth as well as grounded in compassionate, person-centered care. I specialize in helping clients navigate communication difficulties, isolation, guilt and shame, divorce and separation, body image concerns, and attachment patterns. I also have meaningful experience supporting women's issues, pregnancy and childbirth, men's issues, midlife transitions, young adults, and blended family dynamics. Additionally, I work with clients exploring multicultural concerns, family-of-origin patterns, autism spectrum experiences, immigration challenges, caregiver stress, and parenting transitions.
I'm fluent in English, Spanish, and French, which allows me to connect with a diverse range of clients. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and am particularly honored to work with older adults.
I originally trained in a five-year postgraduate psychoanalytic program as a child and adolescent psychotherapist. My experiences in hospitals, school settings and mental health clinics have enriched my level of expertise with parents, families and groups.
My goal is to create a safe, affirming environment where you feel truly heard and supported as you work toward meaningful change and deeper self-understanding.
