About me
Welcome to To Life! Counseling! I am an experienced therapist dedicated to helping adolescents age 16+ and adults cope with trauma, anger, anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, and grief. Our work begins with meeting you wherever you are on your journey, in a welcoming, open, safe, and calm place; a judgment-free zone. This environment fosters connection, acceptance, and trust, allowing you to feel seen and heard.
I believe in the resiliency of the human spirit. Just as a Lotus flower planted in the dirtiest of water finds its way to the light to bloom, you can discover the light within, motivating you to grow, heal, and thrive. Our work will help you connect with and utilize your inner strengths and experiences overcoming obstacles, fostering confidence in your ability to heal.
Are you ready to begin your personalized journey of self-discovery and growth?
A strength-based relational approach forms the foundation of our work. An individualized treatment plan utilizing evidence-based modalities might include Strengths-Based theory, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma Model theory, or EMDR. You will learn new coping skills beyond breathing techniques to regain control over your emotions and manage distress effectively. Imagine living your life feeling empowered, stronger, and more confident in your abilities.
Clients learn Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT) techniques (tapping) to regulate their emotions, calm their bodies, and soothe their souls. You will acquire new skills and strategies to promote enduring success. With compassionate, direct, and authentic care, you will grow to recognize your strengths, regaining confidence and self-esteem. Compassionate, gentle confrontation, and accountability will help you overcome barriers to healing. Quantitative assessments administered at 6-week intervals gauge our treatment progress and provide a snapshot of your success.
Are you motivated for treatment and ready to work? Then I am your therapist.
