About me
I am a licensed therapist with 22 years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges, make meaningful changes, and improve their overall well-being. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, work-related challenges, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed.
My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and tailored to the individual. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and to develop strategies that can lead to meaningful change. At the same time, I recognize that no single approach works for everyone. I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods based on each person’s needs, goals, strengths, and circumstances.
I believe effective therapy should be a partnership. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can better understand what is getting in the way and identify practical steps toward where you want to be. I value honest conversation, thoughtful reflection, and developing strategies that can be applied outside of our sessions.
With more than two decades in the behavioral health field, I bring both experience and perspective to my work, while recognizing that every person and situation is unique. Whether you are facing a specific challenge, going through a difficult transition, or simply feel that something in your life needs to change, we can work together to identify your goals and develop a path forward.
Taking the first step toward therapy can sometimes be the hardest part. If you feel that my approach may be a good fit for you, I would welcome the opportunity to work with you.
