About me
I am a family psychologist specializing in the treatment of complications related to attachment wounds. I utilize a variety of modalities so that I can match both "language" and pace of each client. Contact me for more information about the tools I use in therapy. I also provide clinical supervision and consultation for mental health clinicians at all stages of professional development. I conceptualize my professional services in the context of a Christian worldview.
I have been practicing psychotherapy for 40 years! I love teaching and training as much as I do therapy, and spearhead a group called Durham Psychology Group. As a family psychologist I work most often with subsets of the whole family unit (individuals of adolescent age and up and couples), but also with whole families and even multigenerational families. I also provide Therapy Intensives for both Individuals and Couples. In my group practice we also offer child therapy services, grief therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT).
