About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted—yet still expected to keep going? Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, unsure how to manage their emotions, or weighed down by past or recent experiences. My name is D’Nique Soares, and I’m a licensed social worker who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel truly understood.
My approach is collaborative and strength-based, using evidence-based techniques such as CBT and DBT to help you develop practical coping skills, regulate emotions, and build resilience. Therapy with me is tailored to your needs and moves at a pace that feels right for you.
Clients often share that they feel heard, supported, and more confident in their ability to cope. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning after a break, you don’t have to face things alone. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you.
