About me
My name is Diana Cheng, LCSW and I specialize in working with adults and older adults facing challenges with significant life transitions, grief and loss, and are looking for better ways to cope with difficult times and relationships.
For over 25 years I have counseled and guided adults and older adults as they face challenges in coping with significant life changes and stressors, changes in health conditions, strained relationships, and coping with loss and transitions. Often times, people struggle with feeling overwhelmed, depressed and anxious and are looking to find support and guidance in relieving their suffering, and to develop a deeper understanding and learn healthier coping skills. I incorporate a strength-based, solution focused approach with the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral and Mindfulness-Stress Reduction techniques in helping individuals gain insight and develop healthy coping skills to reduce negative symptoms. We will work together to help you improve your emotional and mental well–being.
