Hello there!

I am an active and reflective listener, engaging and dynamic therapist with a passion for helping others help themselves! It is my goal as a therapist to be a support to my clients and a safe space to speak openly about the things that are on their mind. A phrase I often use is, "Just speak plain! It doesn't have to make sense!"

Sometimes we need to just say the inside thoughts out loud and know they are going nowhere else, that there is no judgement or expectation afterwards! I have experience with supporting those who support others as caregivers, am very skilled and educated in working with those who love others with memory loss - Alzheimer's and Dementia. I am also a certified bereavement specialist. Loss is part of living, but it is complex and painful. It is my goal to help those who are having to exist without people they love to learn to cope and come to accept being okay with never being okay again.

In my time I have worked with many clients who have PTSD, Anxiety and Depression, Adjustment Disorders and complicated life circumstances in many combinations. My approach is unique with every client, and I believe clients should have an active role in their exploration of why they are seeking change. I do often find a combination of CBT, Humanistic Theory, Reality Therapy and Radical Acceptance Therapy are great tools for just about anyone beginning to explore themselves and their stories.

I am so glad you are here and looking to begin to process whatever is on your mind! It takes courage to confront yourself and at times the reality you are in. Don't give up!!
