About me
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I focus on supporting clients in creating the changes they want to see in their lives. I have experience as a therapist, trainer, supervisor, and professor.
I practice from a systemic framework that considers the person and their past and current systems and how those systems have helped shape the person's thinking, emotions, and behaviors. I work primarily with adults (both individuals and couples). I enjoy working with couples to help them find meaning and purpose in their relationship together. I have training in Emotionally-focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Method Therapy, Internal Family Systems, as well as providing training and supervision in all models of Marriage and Family Therapy. As a professor and trainer, I have worked with hundreds of therapists and students to help them understand therapeutic interventions and how to work with individuals, couples, and families. My work is client-directed and I work to provide an open and welcoming environment for clients to share their experiences and develop solutions to fit their needs.
