About me
I am a licensed associate counselor who is dedicated to supporting people of different ages work through anxiety, depression, generational trauma.
Hello, I am Denisse Leon Uribe and I am a bilingual licensed associate counselor. I am devoted to listening to my clients in a non judgemental manner as they find inner strength and healing. Being hispanic, I am inclined to consider culture and family patterns. I typically use cognitive behavioral techniques with both children and adults dealing with negative thinking, worst case scenarios and “what ifs.” Brief solution focused techniques are helpful for clients who want to utilize strengths and past successes to target areas for growth. I like employing mindfulness to support clients when life events take a toll on their wellbeing.
