About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps children, teens, and young adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and the pressure to have it all together while building healthier coping skills and resilience.
I understand what it is like to carry the weight of expectations while trying to appear “fine” on the outside. As a child, teen, and even young adult, I struggled silently and coped in ways that were not always healthy. It was not until later in life that I reached out for help through therapy. That journey taught me something life changing. Healing does not come from perfection. It comes from progress, compassion, and learning healthier ways to navigate hard things.
Both my personal and professional experiences led me here.
Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, I spent over a decade working directly with children, teens, and families as a teacher and school counselor. That experience gave me deep insight into the emotional, academic, and social pressures young people face, as well as the challenges parents often carry behind the scenes. I understand school-related stress, behavioral concerns, social struggles, and how anxiety or trauma can impact daily life.
Today, I provide therapy for children, teens, and young adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, life transitions, and the pressure to have it all together. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I meet you where you are and walk alongside you, helping you build insight, resilience, and practical coping skills that support lasting growth.
I also work closely with parents, offering support and guidance so they feel equipped to support their child’s emotional development at home.
You do not have to navigate this alone. Together, we can build the tools and confidence you need to move forward.
