About me
I am an experienced clinical and child clinical psychologist who is dedicated to exploring and understanding identity in a cultural and developmental context. I help people cope with anxiety, depression and anger by tuning in to both conscious and unconscious thought deeply.
I am psychoanalytically trained and certified. I spent the first part of my career as an academic reseacher studying personality development and American Indian children's mental health. I am an Indigenous person of Anishenaabe/Ojibwe descent and am very mindful of the way culture informs the mind and daily practice. I celebrate creativity and very deeply appreciate humor. I have lived in 11 different places before I turned 18 years old, and I have lived where I am for 24 years now all at once in New Orleans. I can navigate French and English language speakers. I am myself hard of hearing, but I am always listening hard.
