About me
I specialize in working with Black women, women of color, and queer people of color who are struggling to navigate a system and world that was not made for them. This often leads to feelings of anxiety, depression, and withdrawal from oneself and others. I create space to honor these experiences and help clients build the confidence and skills needed to walk through the world more authentically. I have over 5 years of experience helping adults with marginalized identities create lives and relationships they feel validated in.
I take a very eclectic approach to treatment, intertwining different therapeutic practices depending on your specific needs and what is most helpful for you. I primarily use person-centered approaches that focus on your lived experiences and respect your wholeness as an individual. I believe that you are the expert of your experience, and my role is to guide you to a deeper understanding and appreciation of yourself and to help you build the skills needed to create the life and relationships you deserve.
