About me
I work with individuals including preteens, teens, & adults. I offer therapy in-person & virtually online. I'm available weekdays, mostly during daytime hours; afternoon hours may vary. I am trauma informed & I also take special care in helping clients grow their awareness of self & others. Therapy methods used, but not limited to, include the following: strengths-based perspectives, MB-CBT & other mindfulness strategies, as well as the use of additional techniques like attachment work, AF-EMDR based strategies, psychodynamic approaches, & shame resiliency modeled.
I work to meet clients where they're at; to help identify unwanted patterns & difficult emotions that may arise after experiencing high stress, anxiety, or trauma. Left unaddressed, these can impact our daily lives & mental health in a variety of ways, such as negative internalized self-talk, & can limit our chances for long-term growth. We may feel an urgency for things to stay the same, & avoid uncomfortable feelings, or disruptions. This can reduce or limit opportunities to heal, set healthy boundaries for ourselves, or build a stronger connection with others. During therapy services, it is my goal to provide encouragement, guidance, & new ideas or strategies to use outside of therapy too. I look forward to meeting you, & the privilege of walking alongside you in this therapeutic journey.
