About me

I am an experienced psychotherapist with 20 years experience helping adults figure out how to make their lives better.

Hi, welcome, and thank you for stopping by. If this story resonates with you, we may be a good fit.
You do so much for everyone else, but when was the last time someone truly asked how you were doing, and actually listened? It is incredibly lonely to carry the weight and make sure everyone else's world is held together, but when is your time going to come to feel seen and appreciated for everything you do? You're probably exhausted from holding it all together, on call 24/7 for everyone but yourself. Maybe you don't mind, you really like helping others, but when you're exhausted and there's no end in sight, and everyone just expects you to be there and keep going, what's left over for you?

In our sessions you can finally stop doing and take a deep breath. Our time is about you. A place where no one can demand your attention, and your only responsibility is to take a step back, unwind from everything and everybody, and focus on you.

I've been working as a therapist for over 20 years supporting clients find a path to feeling better. I want to hear your life story, the good, the bad, and everything that's been going on, and maybe how you wish things could be or once were.

My approach to therapy is down to earth, and person to person. I believe in the mind body connection that joins our emotional and physical lives. Too much emotional tension for too long is not healthy, and finding ways to release that tension is essential.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but my clients tell me they are so glad they decided to take that step. Therapy doesn't need to go on forever either. I work a lot with a Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach which is helpful for many people. Sometimes when we're on a repeat cycle, we can't see that small changes might make a big difference in our day to day until we have time to stop, talk and reflect about how we're feeling. So, if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or you'd just like to vent and get some things out, reach out and make an appointment today. Looking forward to hearing from you!
