I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. I specialize in adult therapy for individuals experiencing trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, and anxiety-related disorders. When requested, I also offer biblically based Christian counseling, integrating faith-based approaches with evidence-based clinical practices to support clients seeking spiritual and emotional healing.
As the founder and director of Sophos Counseling, I offer a range of mental health services that include clinical supervision and mentorship for pre-licensed therapists pursuing licensure, psychotherapy process groups, and support groups focused on emotional healing, spiritual growth, and personal development. Throughout my career, I have worked in various clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and community mental health programs. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families; however, my current focus is on helping adults navigate emotional challenges and achieve lasting change.
