About me
Deadra holds a PhD in psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor offering mental health therapy and counseling to adolescents and adults in her private practice located in the heart of downtown Bethlehem, PA. She is licensed to practice in PA, NC, NH, and FL.
As a veteran of the US Army, Deadra is proud to offer therapy to members of the military and their families from a perspective not often encountered in the private sector. Providing counseling/therapy to adolescents (14 years of age and up) and adults in the Northampton County and surrounding areas.
Individuals are welcome to schedule on-site or telehealth sessions. Sessions are typically 45 minutes in duration after completion of 60- minute intake.
Deadra has been practicing in the field of psychology for over 20 years. She has a PhD in Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has worked in various settings including, but not limited to, in-patient, outpatient, and in-home services. She has been trained in many therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Deadra employs two additional staff, an LCSW named Pratibha Kamble, and an LACP named Joseph Paslawski who are able to see clients who meet specific insurance criteria.
Pratibha Kamble, LCSW
Pratibha has been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. She has engaged in counseling with diverse populations. She believes in holistic approach, exploring a person’s needs, beliefs and environmental factors from various angles provide a fully supportive therapeutic approach. She also believes in change and transformations through actions, hard work, and consistency.
She enjoys working with adolescents and adults with particular focus on issues of anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, self-esteem, family issues, domestic violence, couple’s counseling and behavioral issues.
She feels that treatment should be collaborative and tailored to the individual. She is confident utilizing strength-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, and Dialectical behavior strategies of mindfulness, radical acceptance, and problem solving.
Joseph Paslawski, MS, LAPC
Joseph is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with many years of corporate experience. He is now bringing his life experience to his clients. He is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College and his areas of expertise include work-life and employment issues, couples therapy, and general life issues including experiences with elder care. Joseph accepts clients with Aetna and Cigna insurances as well as self pay and sliding scale through Open Path Collective. He is in the process of paneling with additional insurances that he will be able to accept in the near future
