About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Psychologist in Pennsylvania with nearly 30 years of professional experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and family concerns, parenting challenges, major life transitions, and career difficulties.
My approach to counseling is collaborative, practical, and grounded in acknowledging the power of human resilience. I draw from cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches, and the philosophy of adapting treatment to the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a particular model.
My background in psychology and education also gives me extensive experience understanding how emotional, behavioral, family, school, and workplace factors interact. I particularly enjoy helping people make sense of complicated situations, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop realistic steps toward optimal health and wellness.
I believe clients bring considerable knowledge and experience to counseling themselves. My role is to listen carefully, ask useful questions, provide an objective perspective, and work collaboratively with you toward the goals that matter to you.
