I, Dave Guseman, am a therapist with more than forty years of experience in human services. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work and am licensed by the State of Delaware as a clinical social worker (LCSW). I am also a trained personal coach and an ordained minister (ULC).
My mission is (1) to alleviate pain and suffering, (2) to help people discover that they have the ability to heal themselves, and (3) to teach them how.

Besides my many years of work- and life-experience, I bring an empathic and spiritually grounded approach to my helping practice. I am also very results-oriented and, over the years, I've researched and tried many approaches to therapy. As a result, I have gathered a number of techniques which produce exceptional results, beyond what the usual "talk therapy" typically produces.
If you are new to therapy, I promise you a gentle process and exceptional results.
If you have been in disappointing therapy which has become stagnant, I may have the breakthrough that you have been seeking. (I often work successfully with clients who have come to me as a "last resort.")
Whatever your troubling emotions, I will teach you how to master them. And mastery of your emotions is the key to your positive mental health (and life).
