About me
I am a clinical psychologist and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, (CSAT) helping those with compulsive sexual behaviors, those in relationships with someone who has compulsive sexual behaviors and couples working towards recovery sexual betrayal.
I work with individuals and couples, and lead a recovery group for men. My practice has focused on men's and women's issues with sexual and other addictions, as well as anger and behavior management. Other areas of focus include relational issues and helping partners with betrayal issues and the associated problems of stress, anxiety, and depression. Emphasis is on the Patrick Carns model, using the texts Facing the Shadows and Facing Heartbreak, as well as Carol Sheets' workbooks Help Her Heal and Help Them Heal.
I specialize in the treatment of sexual and internet addiction, offering both individual and group therapy. This includes treatment for partners of people with sex addiction. You will learn the origin of your struggle and find the path to recovery. You will hear the stories of other men and be encouraged. I will share my own experience and journey through recovery.
I have a Christian background, and incorporate that into the therapy process for those with spiritual beliefs and a desire to build the therapy on a Christian foundation.
