About me
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 45 years of experience in mental health, I bring a compassionate, supportive, and individualized approach to counseling. I believe that each person has unique strengths and the capacity for meaningful change. My approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, while exploring how past experiences, emotions, and patterns of thinking influence present challenges.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. My goal is to work collaboratively with each client to develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, build emotional resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their quality of life.
