About me
I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in treating relationship concerns, depression, and anxiety in the context of individual, couple, and relationship therapy.
Are you feeling stuck in your relationship and unsure how to move forward? Are you exhausted from having the same arguments without real change? Or maybe things are going well, and you want to make a good relationship even stronger. If any of this sounds like you, you’re in the right place. I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in relationship therapy, working with individuals and all parties in distressed loving relationships to strengthen connections, navigate challenges, and make meaningful decisions. Outside of private practice, I work as a faculty member at the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also provide evidence-supported treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapies for other mental health concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety) to individuals in relationships who struggle with these mental health challenges. I take a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach. Together, we’ll clarify what matters most to you and your relationships. I bring clinical expertise while honoring you as the expert of your lived experience. I welcome clients of all identities and am LGBTQIA+-affirming and polyamorous-friendly, with a multicultural, identity-aware lens.
I offer in-person and telehealth therapy in Missouri, and telehealth therapy to clients in most U.S. states. I offer limited sliding-scale spots. Please schedule a free consultation to discuss your needs. Many insurance companies provide some out-of-network reimbursement for mental health care. I can provide you with a "superbill" each month that includes information you need to access those benefits. For alternative low-cost therapy options, UMSL’s Community Psychological Services clinic (314-516-5771) offers high-quality, affordable psychotherapy to the St. Louis area.
