We live in a World that often encourages us to ignore and discard anything that is uncomfortable, to pretend it isn't there, and to keep going no matter what. And if we can't live up to such impossible standards we're told there's something wrong with us. We spend so much of our lives running from ourselves and from our truths and we all suffer because of it. As we abandon our pain, we abandon ourselves including our gifts. When we turn towards what is there, within us and around us, with compassion and curiosity, instead of denying, controlling, and minimizing we create a safe space for self-discovery, growth, and true fulfillment.
