About me
Clients can expect a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where comfort and openness grow naturally, making it easier to talk about personal challenges and needs—no matter what they may be. I personalize my approach based on what works best for each individual. Some clients benefit from tangible homework or structured exercises between sessions, while others prefer reflective takeaways or skills to practice on their own, and both approaches are equally supported.
I also value the thoughtful use of humor as we work through difficult topics, always with respect for the person and the experience being shared. One of the most important takeaways from our work together is the understanding that challenges do not diminish worth—clients are whole and deserving of care, growth, and compassion at every stage of the journey.
I truly enjoy bringing humor into the therapeutic space and finding moments of lightness, even during life’s most difficult experiences. One of the most meaningful parts of my work is witnessing those moments of clarity and growth—when individuals recognize their potential, reconnect with self-worth, and begin moving toward the life they want. With over twenty years of experience supporting people through mental health challenges and complex life experiences, I remain deeply committed to continual learning and personal growth.
I believe therapy can serve many different purposes depending on the individual, but the most essential element is having a safe space to show up authentically—messy, human, and whole. I believe everyone has the capacity to develop the skills and tools needed to live a fulfilling life. My approach balances providing concrete, practical strategies with exploring and shifting thought patterns that may be keeping someone feeling stuck.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a relaxed, welcoming environment where clients feel at ease. I listen with the intention to truly understand and respond thoughtfully. When thoughts and emotions feel tangled or overwhelming, I help support the process of sorting through them in a way that improves clarity, functioning, and overall quality of life. Drawing from a wide range of professional and personal experiences, I am able to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I bring optimism into each session and work to foster hope, resilience, and meaningful change.
