About me
There are many reasons to pursue therapy. Whether you are seeking counseling for the first time or contemplating starting again with a new therapist, you are taking an important step towards self-care and personal growth. I help individuals in their search for self-knowledge, who want to find meaning in the context of their lives, in the right here and right now. My treatment approach has a strong relational and collaborative component. You and I create a therapeutic alliance, and together we can explore not only what hurts or is not working in your life, but also tap into your intuition, wisdom, resilience, and potential.
For more than 20 years, I have worked with individuals of all ages, couples and families in diverse fields of practice, supporting their journey through life transitions, loss, compulsions, and healing from trauma. In a collaborative partnership, I help individuals gain self- awareness and identify and replace old patterns of behaviors with healthier ones. Together, we can transform your pain into purpose. As the great poet, Rumi, once wrote: "The wound is the place where the Light enters you."
