About me
Specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with Individuals, Children (8 and up), Teens, Families, and Group Therapy
Daniel graduated from Idaho State University receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree, he worked in community-based rehabilitation and case management while obtaining his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Daniel grew up in the Idaho Falls area and stayed due to his love for the outdoors and the recreational opportunities in the area. Daniel enjoys hiking, camping, cross country skiing, and other outdoor activities. Daniel is passionate about health and wellness and is actively involved in weightlifting, bodybuilding, and healthy living.
Daniel holds certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as training specific to ADHD, anxiety, family issues, depression, and substance use/dependence. Daniel works with a variety of ages and challenges but specializes with children, adolescents, and their families. Daniel believes the counseling process provides an environment in which personal and family growth occurs, and through that growth individuals and families are empowered. Daniel brings with him the knowledge, experience, and passion to facilitate that growth.
