About me

I help clients who have tried traditional therapy but still feel stuck, hypervigilant, disconnected, or on autopilot. As a Texas Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults, first responders, veterans, LGBTQIA+ clients, immigrants, children, and adolescents using EMDR, C-DBT, attachment trauma work, Safe and Sound Protocol, Rest and Restore Protocol, and IFS-informed care.

I’m Daniel Lozoya, LCSW, a Texas Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides trauma-informed therapy for adults, children, adolescents, and families. I work with clients who may look “high functioning” on the outside but internally feel stuck, hypervigilant, overwhelmed, disconnected, or like they are moving through life on autopilot.
Many of the people I support have tried traditional therapy or other ways to feel better, yet still find themselves repeating old patterns, shutting down emotionally, feeling constantly on edge, or struggling to feel safe in their own body. My work is especially focused on trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, identity-related stress, and nervous system healing.
I have experience supporting first responders, veterans, LGBTQIA+ clients, immigrants, and individuals navigating complex trauma. I also work with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, emotional meltdowns, autism-related stressors, and difficulty expressing what they feel.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I integrate EMDR, C-DBT, attachment trauma work, Safe and Sound Protocol, Rest and Restore Protocol, and IFS-informed care to help clients move beyond simply coping and begin building safety, clarity, and connection. I believe therapy should feel supportive, honest, and practical — a space where you can feel understood while also learning tools to create meaningful change.
I currently welcome private pay clients and accept a limited number of insurance clients, depending on availability and fit.
