I have had the great privilege of working with wide breadth of different populations enhancing future client experience. I am a humanistic, person centered, solution focused therapist. ( i know what could i have done to come out this way :) I treat each person with unconditional positive regard, and with a genuine concern for their wellbeing. I am a nationally certified counselor. ( NCC) I am a member of the national society for leadership and success and the American Counseling Association( ACA) .As far as approach it is an eclectic blend including awareness, mindfulness's and meta cognition. I believe the client is the expert of themselves.

I am usually up before the birds. when I'm not in session you can find me in the garden, working on art projects, skate boarding and training with the K-9 she's a very large female German Sheppard that I rescued (really she rescued me) from an animal shelter in Kent Washington. I enjoy cooking health alternatives and spend some time in the kitchen. I am working to provide limited in person session soon. In the mean time meeting with folks living in the great state of Washington via computer. I offer SFBT short for Solution-Focused Brief Therapy which is a therapeutic approach that emphasizes clients’ strengths and resources to create positive change, focusing on present and future goals rather than past problems. It’s brief, goal-oriented, and emphasizes solutions rather than delving into underlying issues. The focus is on the client’s health rather than the problem, strengths rather than weaknesses or deficits, and skills, resources, and coping abilities that would help reach future goals.I am licensed by the state WASHINGTON seeing clients living in the state of WASHINGTON. My office is in Portland.
