About me
I work with adolescents and young adults who struggle with addiction, eating disorders, self-harm, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to open up and find healing and hope.
One of the hardest things to do is acknowledge that you are worthy of recovery. I am committed to helping you identify and navigate your feelings, find healthier coping skills, and learn how to have hope again. Healing is possible and I hope to be by your side every step of the way. Everyone has experienced life differently and I look forward to learning about the experiences and relationships that have shaped you into who you are. I am here to support you and create a safe space for you to process, heal, and grow. I am ready to meet you wherever you are.
I have experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, addiction, self-harm, intense mood swings, anxiety, and depression. You may find yourself struggling with more than one behavior that you hope to overcome. Often when someone enters one form of recovery, a new unhealthy coping skill pops up. We can work to find healthier skills for you to use in times of distress.
I believe that every person is unique and deserving of a unique plan. For that reason, I start by asking what you want to get out of therapy. Once I learn more about your needs, I will work from a person-centered approach. Together we will work to formulate the best approach for you!
I am currently seeing clients individually through The Menninger Clinic's outpatient services. Contact me for more information on how to schedule! I look forward to working with you.
