About me
Experienced therapist dedicated to creating safe, supportive spaces for healing and growth across the lifespan.
Aloha! My name is Dana Lucio, and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over seven years of experience providing therapy throughout Hawai‘i. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families work through life’s challenges in a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can happen.
My approach is client-centered and collaborative—I believe therapy should be tailored to fit your unique needs and goals. I commonly work with people experiencing trauma, substance use challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting clients across all age groups and diverse cultural backgrounds.
In our work together, you can expect honesty, compassion, and clinically informed care. I use evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care, and I adjust my style to meet you where you’re at. Whether you’re processing pain, navigating change, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
