About me
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based out of Southwest Oklahoma. I have worked in the mental health field for over 7 years. Graduating from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy.
Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. Primarily these are families who are experiencing a problematic issue with one of the family members and desire to work together to regain a working, stable home environment. I also assist individuals/couples who are working through issues/transitions and a better self.
Additionally, I served 20 years in the US Marines, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 2012. I have a no-nonsense approach to therapy, that being said, I fully believe an essential element to any therapeutic relationship starts with your goals as the client. I will strive to create a relationship where you feel safe and comfortable to share your feelings without fear of judgement. As your therapist, I will encourage, provide insight, and at times even challenge you in your identified areas. My approach will combine solution- focused, cognitive behavior therapy; also eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) or trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy (TFCBT) when necessary.
I am here to support and empower you to your desired goals.
I look forward to work with you!
