About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and trained in Anxiety, Depression, Personal Growth and Relationship Issues.
Welcome! I'm Dana Frederickson, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges through understanding, compassion, and evidence-based therapeutic practices. My practice, Grateful Roots Counseling, focuses on empowering adults to overcome anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, and to cultivate a stronger sense of self.
I believe that when you trust your inner voice and build confidence within, you unlock your true potential. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in the idea that everyone has the strength to grow, and with the right guidance, you can create lasting change.
At Grateful Roots Counseling, I provide a safe, supportive space where you can be heard, reflect on your experiences, and explore new ways of approaching life. I take a holistic and nonjudgmental approach to therapy, working with you to develop personalized strategies and tools that lead to emotional healing and well-being. By combining Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I tailor my approach to help you break through challenges, develop healthier habits, and achieve your goals.
Whether you're navigating mental health concerns, adjusting to a major life transition, or striving for personal growth, my goal is to support you through every step of the process. With time and dedication, I believe you can gain the tools and insights needed to confidently move forward in life, relying on your own strength and resilience.
Outside of the office, you’ll find me hiking, reading, skiing, and spending time with family and friends, as I believe that true healing comes from nurturing all aspects of life. I look forward to collaborating with you, creating a plan that reflects your unique needs, and guiding you toward the fulfilling, balanced life you deserve.
Please feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
"Rooted in growth, healing, and resilience- nurturing lasting change."
