When Life is More Complex Than a Single Diagnosis We all face challenges, but in real life, it’s rarely just "anxiety" or "depression" in a vacuum. Life is a complex mix of relationship struggles, personal pain, spiritual questions, and sometimes, the heavy burden of addiction or trauma. When you are in the thick of it, you don’t need a compartmentalized solution that only treats one fraction of who you are. You need a path to healing that is as holistic as you are.

I am a Christian Counselor specializing in helping individuals and couples overcome pornography addiction, sex addiction, infidelity, and betrayal trauma.

Since 2014, I have been successfully helping clients navigate the darkest moments of their lives to find lasting recovery. My practice is built on the belief that you deserve affordable, high-quality, and distinctively Christian mental health care.

My Approach: Top-Down Stability meets Bottom-Up Healing Recovery is not a straight line, and it requires more than just willpower. I utilize a dual-approach method to ensure we address both the symptoms and the source of your pain.

The Top-Down Approach (Behavioral): Once we understand the specific challenges you are facing, we will co-create a "menu" of helpful habits. Note that this is a menu, not a rigid to-do list—because when you are struggling, rigid lists often do more harm than good. These habits provide short-term stability and prolong your long-term results.

The Bottom-Up Approach (Emotional): Habits alone are often just band-aids on bullet holes. To achieve lasting change, we must identify the root source of your struggle. We do this by exploring the story of the life you have lived so far. By understanding your narrative, we can heal at the cause level, not just the symptom level.

Distinctively Christian & Clinically Excellent I reject the false choice between clinical excellence and spiritual health. My model is both clinically sound and Biblically sound.

For the Spirit: This is a non-preachy, client-led approach. For those who wish, we integrate powerful tools of faith—like lament and forgiveness—alongside therapeutic work.

For the Mind: I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and a Supervisor. We utilize rigorous diagnostic processes (quantitative surveys and personal narrative) to get to the root cause. We also integrate the most effective models available, including EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Who I Am Therapy is a relationship, and it helps to know the person sitting across from you. Personally, I am a Christian, a husband, and a father. I describe myself as an amateur theologian, a business and real estate nerd, and an AI enthusiast.

I also bring a level of personal understanding to this work. At different points in my past, I have personally faced depression, anxiety, and addiction. I know what it is to feel overwhelmed, powerless, and stuck. I offer you the same compassion and pathway to freedom that I have found.

Accessible Care for All I believe finances should never be a barrier to healing. Operating as a nonprofit, our mission is to "love our neighbor" by maximizing access to care. We accept most private insurance plans, are in the process of credentialing with Medicaid, and offer a tiered-fee structure with our associates and interns to make long-term care possible.

For Clinicians: Supervision & Consultation In addition to direct client care, I provide clinical supervision and consultation for clinicians working with their own clients to overcome addiction and betrayal trauma.
