About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. I have experience with working with clients from age 5 to 75. I have worked with client's dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, low self esteem or image, disabilities, relationship issues, grief, trauma, PTSD, infertility.. the list could go on. If I don't fee that I am
Life doesn’t come with a manual—life is hard. Sometimes we just want someone to listen, without taking sides. We want space to explain what’s going on and check if our feelings are valid. We can get stuck in our own heads, worried about what others will think—often after judging ourselves enough already. I’m nonjudgmental and laid back. I believe most people are too hard on themselves and many of us aren’t sure how to show our emotions. I’ve worked with a wide range of individuals facing mental health challenges, and I believe we all encounter mental health struggles at some point in our lives.
Therapy has personally helped me through tough seasons since I was an adolescent, and it continues to. That’s why it’s my passion to be there for others—to help you understand yourself and keep going.
Being a therapist is more than a career—it’s a passion. I’ve worked in the substance use and mental health field for 10+ years. Therapy can be beneficial for everyone—even therapists. I’m looking forward to meeting you and supporting your journey. Taking the first step is often the hardest, and I’m proud of anyone who does it.
We’ll take time to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your presenting situation, how you feel about therapy, your strengths, and any barriers you may face. I’ll ask how I can best support you and what you hope to accomplish through therapy.
I take a person-centered approach and draw from a variety of therapeutic methods. Together, we’ll find techniques that work best for you—whether that’s processing emotions, building coping skills, or addressing your unique needs.
