About me
I am a licensed mental health practitioner (LMHP) with over 30 years of experience counseling in various settings such as low-income communities and in university, senior citizen, and community counseling centers.
I have taught psychology at various universities in Nebraska, Texas, and Missouri. For over ten years, I trained post-graduate students in aspects of psychology that they will need to know to pass their board exams in medicine and dentistry to become future healers.
I hold a PD. in Social Psychology through which I've explored conflicts (social, ethnic, political...) in various countries. I was also a Licenced Massage Therapist for over 30 years.
I love to travel in order to interact with people from various cultural, political and spiritual perspectives to understand them and hone my understanding of myself in relation to others. I love the creative crafts and artistic expression categories.
I come from a very eclectic family background via racial, religious, educational, social, judicial, political and sexual orientations.
This being said, I am, thus, eclectic in my approach to counseling. I welcome clients where they are at and strive to explore where they are willing to go mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually to feel better and to achieve their dreams.
Also, I have to add, I adore the outdoors and have been a proponent of the environment since I was a child. I still love to play in the rain.
