About me
Cyndi Roberts- Morey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the State of Florida, a Master’s Level Florida Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a DOT approved Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). Cyndi is also a qualified supervisor for Social Work registered interns and Marriage and Family (MFT) registered interns.
Throughout her career, Cyndi has acquired extensive experience in providing therapeutic solutions to adolescents, individuals, couples and families dealing with a variety of life challenges, including trauma, PTSD, addictions and mood disorders. She is committed to joining others in their journey to create positive changes. Her goal is to give everyone she works with the education and skills to improve their own functioning and emotional health. Cyndi uses her training in a number of evidenced-based therapies to give her clients their best chance at developing long lasting changes. These include:
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). As a Christian Therapist, Cyndi integrates God’s love and guiding principles as part of the healing and restoration process of her clients. Her desire is to see adolescents, individuals, couples and families break the cycle of continual pain and inner turmoil as they seek to gain insight into adapting coping skills that bring about optimum mental health and healing.
