About me
Narcissistic abuse and trauma therapist dedicated to working with individuals of all ages who have experienced any form of trauma and its impacts including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, struggles with life experiences, struggles in relationships or communication.
Feeling ready to move past the trouble managing overwhelming symptoms stemming from past trauma including ongoing intense emotional dysregulation, unhealthy coping, relationships struggle, and severe negative self-beliefs. These struggles are impacting your career, social life, and overall functioning in daily life? Establishing a sense of safety and rapport, developing sustainable calming, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance using a combination of mindfulness, grounding techniques and psychoeducation. Challenge the negative self-narratives by changing negative self-beliefs rooted in past trauma. Separate identity from experiences while fostering resilience.
As a clinical therapist I am currently working with children, adults, seniors and families of all ages. My goal is to provide a warm welcoming safe space that strives to create a calm comforting non judgmental environment to explore difficult emotions from experiences, life events, transitions, communication challenges, relationship challenges and much more. I value courage, self determination, curiosity, self reflection, helping others reflect upon their inner selves, creativity, diversity, and a sense of humor. My style includes person centered, strength based and a whole person approach exploring current struggles or symptoms along with exploring the originating source of the issue of concern in a gentle safe environment. Crystal incorporates play therapy, self care, mindfulness, grounding, exploring negative beliefs and cognitions, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and talk therapy while instilling hope into sessions. Crystal offers a calm, collaborative and gentle but direct approach. She is always expanding on her knowledge and values new approaches and modalities of therapy to advantage her clients in new developments in mental health care, multiple options of treatment and self improvement. I believe that therapy should be tailored to each individual's needs as each person is unique and should be valued as such.
Life can be difficult at times. My goal is to providing compassionate care to inspire hope, growth, and peace through empowering lives and building resilience ensuring you feel empowered and in control throughout your healing journey. Please reach out to start focusing on your strengths and resilience, reintegrate your story transformation in life. I am passionate about helping others live the best lives they can with limiting any barriers that get in the way. I want to be a positive support to help others during difficult times. I am motivated to help others work past obstacles and watching them grow further within themselves.
