About me
I am a skilled therapist who is passionate about empowering clients to transform their pain into purpose and take control over their well-being to find joy and satisfaction in their life.
Have you been feeling at your wits end? Like you have no control over your thoughts and emotions? Have you experienced painful life circumstances or trauma that you don’t know how to cope with? You are not alone! I have successfully helped many others in your position to take back control over their lives and their minds through my warm, creative and skillful approach.
Client populations I work with:
Adolescents, Teens and Adults
-anxiety
-depression
-stress management
-grief and loss
-suicide loss
-body focused repetitive behaviors
-trauma
-low self esteem
After a session with me, you will leave feeling inspired, powerful, and capable. You will feel heard and uplifted, recognizing your true limitless potential. Through my work I help clients to learn how to identify false beliefs, reframe negative thoughts, process traumatic experiences, practice self-compassion, develop healthy coping skills, increase communication skills, and shift their perspective to one of positivity.
I help clients make those changes and more through empathetic listening, cognitive behavioral therapy, the Emotional Freedom Technique, mindfulness based stress reduction, breath work, trauma informed yoga, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, grief counseling, strengths-based and solutions focused approaches. I will always treat you with unconditional positive regard and offer you a safe space to openly explore your innermost thoughts and emotions.
In addition to my clinical training, I am also trained as a yoga instructor. I would consider myself to be an open minded, spiritually attuned, creative, approachable, and fun therapist. If that sounds like the kind of therapist you are looking for, I am happy to offer a free consultation to see if we are a good fit. If we are not, I am happy to offer referrals to others in my network.
